Aurora Borealis

Here and Now (The Secret to Happiness)

This morning I found this inspirational message (below) in my inbox. With the raindrops on the windscreen, at a green robot light, I designed this beautiful Aurora Borealis poster. —Godspeed.

The problem is we are often anxious and stressed thinking about the future, or full of regret, and resentment from being stuck in the past, so we miss the present moment, which is the only place where happiness resides.

The most basic of things, which is being present in the now, has become a real challenge for most people, and the technology we hold in our hands has only made it worse. Instead of living the moment, it must be photographed and shared, so that others may ‘like’ the moment you just missed!

Breathing work is a good way to bring your awareness back to the present moment when you detect your mind is not here and now.

Just by focusing on inhaling and exhaling for a few seconds, you can bring yourself back to the present moment, which is actually where life happens, so don’t miss it!

Your loved ones will really appreciate your full presence and you will be able to appreciate the simple things that life offers (to those that pay attention).

In a world where we are bombarded 24/7 with marketing gimmicks designed to create unnecessary needs and desires, it is time to go back to the basics, for it is in the basics that true, lasting happiness lies.'
